Ferty9 Data Retention Policy

1. How periods are determined

• Purpose and sensitivity of the record.
• Patient-care, clinical and continuity needs.
• Applicable healthcare, tax, accounting and regulatory duties.
• Security, audit, dispute, investigation and legal-hold requirements.
• Contractual commitments and verified technical capability.

2. Confirmed requirements

• Optional analytics and tracking data: one year where technically and legally appropriate, unless a shorter period applies.
• CERT-In ICT logs: at least 180 days, maintained securely within India.
• Applicable ART records: at least ten years, followed by transfer to the National Registry as required. Records connected with legal proceedings may be retained longer.

3. Other records

Clinical, account, appointment, communication, billing, consent, feedback, employment and supplier records follow approved schedules based on applicable duties and purpose. Where a precise period is still under governance review, Ferty9 applies lawful necessity, minimisation and documented disposal review rather than publishing an unsupported duration.

4. Holds and disposal

Deletion is suspended where a lawful hold, investigation, complaint, litigation or regulatory requirement applies. At the end of the applicable period, records are securely deleted, anonymised, transferred or archived according to the approved process and technical capability.
